1. The basic concept of abrasive belt grinding technology

Abrasive belt grinding technology

In 1760, the first sandpaper appeared in the world, but it was limited to manual operation; from 1900 to 1910, it entered the era of mechanical sandpaper and abrasive cloth, and was applied to the wood industry for the first time in the shape of an endless belt. The mechanical grinding method of the belt-shaped abrasive cloth is the prototype of the abrasive belt grinding; after 1930, the abrasive belt grinding gradually develops into the metal processing.
