On September 12, the annual meeting of 5.5 million tons of LNG equipment localization was held in Beijing, officially launching the domestic research and development of 5.5 million tons of LNG equipment. This move is of great significance to improving the development level of China's LNG industry, promoting China's independent technology and equipment to “go global†and accelerating the development and utilization of overseas natural gas resources. The meeting was commissioned by the National Energy Administration and organized by the China Machinery Industry Federation and the National Energy LNG Technology R&D Center to organize more than ten relevant research units in China. The National Energy LNG Technology R&D Center under the responsibility of China Ryukyu Engineering Co., Ltd., as the lead unit of the R&D work, is responsible for the implementation of R&D work. After the start of the domestic research and development of 5.5 million tons of LNG equipment, the company will focus on the refrigerant compressor and compressor drive for the annual 5.5 million tons LNG project based on the localization level and capacity of China's LNG project equipment and process technology. Further development and testing of key equipment and related processes such as machines, cold boxes, evaporative gas compressors, and cryogenic valves. At present, with the successful launch of the 600,000-ton LNG project of Kunlun Energy Shandong Taian, China has successfully achieved a major breakthrough in the natural gas liquefaction technology and equipment localization of this scale LNG project. For the domestic research and development of 5.5 million tons of LNG equipment, the Ryukyu Engineering Company has a domestic comparison with Shengu Group Co., Ltd., Shanghai Electric Group Shanghai Motor Factory Co., Ltd. and Sichuan Air Separation Equipment (Group) Co., Ltd.
