The repeated fluctuations of these times are mainly due to the excessive total output of the industry and the imbalance between production and sales. The boom cycle of graphite is generally three or four years. Although the industry association has done a lot of work, the effect is limited. The business philosophy of individual companies is “everyone is together, everyone is together”, which seriously affects the industry's advantages and healthy development. The former Secretary General of China Graphite Industry Association, Qi Zhixiang, said that the graphite market is indeed in a downturn, and some enterprises in Heilongjiang Luobei, Jixi and Inner Mongolia will stop production, indicating that the off-season of the graphite industry has arrived. Normally, general graphite companies resume production in January. However, if the time to resume production next year is pushed back two months, and the economic situation at home and abroad will improve, the price of graphite will slowly recover.
