CNC machining and programming application of CTX400 turning center

The CTX400E turning center adopts a four-axis three-link configuration, a linear axis X/Y/Z and a rotating C-axis, and the C-axis rotates around the main axis. 3. Machine interface

The operation interface is divided into six menus, as shown in Figure 1. The MACHINE menu is used by the operator to set various parameters of the machine during machining; the DIN PLUS menu provides the window for the operator to manually program the program; the PARAMETER menu provides the operator with the definition and modification of the tool, chuck, fixture and tip in the process. The window; the SIMULATION menu is the simulation window, through which the machining program can be verified; SERVICE provides shortcuts for service and repair; TURN PLUS is the automatic programming module.

2. Tool path simulation and inspection

The machine tool displays the parts in real time through the G17, G18 and G19 windows. Through the tool path check, the details of the machining process can be verified, and the abnormal alarms and prompts appearing during the machining can be simplified, and the confirmation of the program can be simplified, and the trial cutting time is greatly reduced. 3. Advanced tool life management

In the tool magazine, by recording and simulating the machining load and machining time of each tool, it is possible to quickly judge the wear of the tool, and promptly remind the processor to change the tool, which has a positive effect on the accuracy of the machined part.

4. Spindle load display

The spindle load and rotation speed of each tool in the program are recorded and displayed on the operation panel. The operator can carefully analyze the cutting parameters according to the spindle load condition to achieve the effect of optimizing the cutting parameters.
