Safety valves are used as safety protection devices on equipment, devices and pipelines. Leakage is a common fault that seriously threatens the safe operation of production and construction. The specific analysis of safety valve leakage is as follows:
First, the cause of leakage 1. Oxidation scale, scale, debris, etc. fall on the sealing surface between the valve flap and the valve seat;
2. Mechanical damage or corrosion of the sealing surface;
3. The valve stem is bent and deformed, or the lever of the lever type safety valve is deflected from the fulcrum to displace the valve core and the valve disc;
4. The spring fails due to excessive load, or the spring is weakened due to corrosion.
5. Improper installation;
6. High temperature causes leakage.
Second, the treatment method 1. Use manual exhaust purge, or disassemble to clean and reassemble, or replace and then check;
2. It should be repaired by grinding or turning according to the degree of damage;
3. Replace the spring and re-adjust the opening pressure;
4. Re-assemble or replace the valve stem and remove the additional load from the pipe before re-calibration;
5. If it is improperly selected, the safety valve suitable for high temperature medium (such as safety valve with radiator or other special safety valve for special bead) should be re-selected according to the temperature of use;
6. Appropriate thermal insulation measures should be taken due to leakage caused by high temperature environment;
7. Correct the lever centerline.
Third, preventive measures 1. During the overhaul, thoroughly check or replace the safety valve components;
2. Accurate testing of valve maintenance and operation.
