State Grid's power supply increased 20.07% year-on-year in August

State Grid Corporation of China released statistical data on September 21, showing that the company's power supply from January to August was 188,898 million kWh, an increase of 21.17% over the same period last year. Among them, the State Grid's power supply in August amounted to 274.092 billion kWh, up 20.07% year-on-year.

From January to August, the company sold 1.777582 trillion kwh cumulatively, an increase of 21.43% over the same period last year. Among them, the sale of electricity in August was 2577.4 billion kwh, an increase of 19.47% year-on-year.

As of the end of August, the company had 26,651 kilometers of exchange lines, including 2,519 kilometers of UHV lines above 500 kV; and 13,315 kilovolt-ampere-transformed capacity.

The data also shows that from January to August, the national electricity market reached 230.293 billion kWh of electricity, an increase of 19.62% year-on-year, of which the transaction volume in August was 37.765 billion kWh, an increase of 12.29% year-on-year.
