In order to protect and rationally develop advantageous mineral resources, the Ministry of Land and Resources studied and determined 2016 total control indicators for rare earth ore and tungsten mining, and issued notifications in accordance with the relevant regulations for protective mining of specific minerals. Among the rare earth ore mining control indicators, the ionic (mainly heavy rare earth-based) rare earth ore index is 17,900 tons and the rock-mineral type (light) rare earth ore index is 87,100 tons; among the national tungsten concentrate mining control indicators, the main mining The index is 73,200 tons, and the comprehensive utilization index is 18,100 tons.

It is reported that the Ministry of Land and Resources has also allocated 2016 provincial (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) total control index of rare earth ore tungsten mining, requiring provincial provincial land and resources authorities in strict accordance with regulations, timely decomposition of indicators to reach cities and counties or enterprises, classification Responsible and implement each layer. The county-level land and resources authorities must sign a letter of responsibility with the mining enterprises to clarify their rights, obligations and liabilities for breach of contract. The mining right holders must earnestly implement the rare earth mineral monthly report and the tungsten mineral quarterly reporting system, and carry out online direct reporting in a timely, accurate, and standardized manner; local land and resources authorities at all levels must take measures to effectively strengthen the verification and inspection of the implementation of indicators.
