LED installation notes
I. Use current:
(1) Since the LED has a characteristic that the current rapidly increases with the voltage.
(2) Excessive current will cause burnout of the led lamp or attenuation of the brightness.
(3) When used, a resistor should be added in series with the LED lamp to limit the current.
(4) The LED should work under the same current conditions, generally recommended that the LED current is 15-19mA.
Two. Brightness test and product instructions:
(1) When detecting and using LEDs, each LED must be supplied with the same current or constant current detection in order to ensure uniform detection brightness. The best current should not exceed 20mA, and it is best to use a current of 15-19mA.
(2) When using products with spectrophotometric separation, please sort and use according to the sequence of BIN number. You can not mix different BIN number LEDs in the same product to avoid the difference of color, brightness and voltage. If you want to mix BIN numbers, adjacent BIN numbers can be put together but try to avoid them.
Three. Anti-static precautions
(1) All equipment and instruments that contact the LED must be well grounded. In particular, the soldering iron and solder pot must be well grounded.
(2) The operator must wear a grounded anti-static wrist strap, anti-static shoes, and anti-static clothing.
(3) The anti-static wrist must be tested every day, and must be replaced if it fails.
(4) If the LED is damaged by static electricity, it will show some bad characteristics: the leakage current increases, the static forward voltage decreases or rises, and it does not shine or emits light under low current test.
Four. LED welding conditions:
(1) Soldering iron soldering: soldering iron (up to 30W) tip temperature does not exceed 300°C; welding time does not exceed 3 seconds; welding time does not exceed 3 seconds; welding position is at least 3mm away from the gel.
(2) Immersion welding: The maximum temperature of dipping is 260°C; the dipping time is not more than 5 seconds; the dipping position is at least 2mm from the colloid.
V. Pin forming method:
(1) The holder must be removed 2 mm to bend the holder so as not to cause the colloid to break or damage the internal structure.
(2) Stent forming must be done with a jig or by a professional.
(3) The stent forming must be completed before welding.
(4) The formation of the bracket needs to ensure that the pins and spacing are consistent with the board.
Six. LED installation method:
(1) Pay attention to the arrangement of the external lines of various types of devices to prevent incorrect polarity. The device must not be too close to the heating element
(2) Do not install the LED with the pins deformed.
(3) When it is decided to install in the hole, calculate the size and tolerance of the hole distance on the face and circuit board to avoid excessive pressure on the bracket.
(4) When installing the LED, Jian intend to use guide sleeve positioning.
(5) Before the soldering temperature returns to normal, the LED must be protected from any vibration or external force.
Seven. Cleaning:
Care must be taken when cleaning colloids with chemicals because some chemicals cause damage to the colloidal surface and cause fading such as trichloroethylene, acetone, and the like. Ethanol can be used for wiping and dipping. The time should not exceed 3 minutes at room temperature. Working and storage temperature:
(1) LED LAMPS LED Topr-25°C~85°C, Tstg-40°C~100°C
(2) LED DISPLAYS display Topr-20°C~70°C, Tstg-20°C~85°C
