Similar to other CNC machine tools, CNC combined machine tools also change the machining stroke, work cycle, cutting parameters, machining position and automatic tool change through CNC machining programs. Moreover, combined with the characteristics of the combined machine tool, the CNC combined machine tool can also automatically replace the headstock to adapt to the processing of the deformed type.

In order to adapt to the development of CNC combined machine tools, the NC machining function modules that constitute CNC machine tools have emerged. Modular machine tool modularization is the inevitable result of the numerical control of combined machine tools, and it is also the necessary basis for the numerical control of combined machine tools. The modularization of CNC machining greatly enriches the common parts of the combined machine tool, which will inevitably lead to fundamental changes in the common parts of the combined machine tool. CNC machining module, according to its numerical control coordinates (axis), there are three types of single coordinate, double coordinate and three coordinates; according to the number of spindles, there are single-axis and multi-axis modules, as well as single-axis and multi-axis composite machining modules. There are two main ways to develop CNC machining modules. Second, according to the characteristics of CNC machining, the unique components of CNC combined machine tools are developed, such as automatic replacement multi-axis spindle box, CNC rotary tool magazine, CNC tool changer, and CNC box-changing robot.

Since high-speed machining can greatly reduce the surface roughness, cutting force and cutting temperature of parts, and improve production efficiency, the research on the high-speed machine tool is in the ascendant, especially the main motion and feed movement speed of CNC machine tools have reached an astonishing high speed. As the machine tool realizes numerical control, the machining accuracy of the machine tool is getting higher and higher, so that some machining precisions that were difficult to achieve in the past have been realized today. Fully enclosed protection is a major feature of today's machine tools, whether it is a stand-alone or machine tool production line. All electrical and hydraulic lines are routed in the air. Fully enclosed protection not only makes the machine tool and its production line look beautiful, but also improves the safety, reliability and maintenance convenience of the machine tool and the production line. Obviously, the use of CNC machine tools and machining centers to replace the rigid combination machine tool production line and achieve flexibility is not in line with China's national conditions.

We believe that the use of CNC combined machine tools, coupled with economical machining centers and economical CNC machine tools to form a production line, is currently a more economical solution to achieve flexible production lines. To develop a flexible combination machine tool production line, the following key problems must be solved: the development of the common components of the CNC combined machine tool is similar to the development of the common components of the combined machine tool. The industrial plastic track plate has a small coefficient of friction, which makes the CNC slide table sporty, vibration-free, low-noise, and can prevent low-speed crawling. In addition, because of its good wear resistance, the life of the guide rail can be extended. The transmission screw of the one-dimensional and two-dimensional numerical control sliding table adopts double-nut ball screw to eliminate the two-way transmission gap and improve the transmission precision of the numerical control sliding table.
