The auxiliary products of the above packaging film materials mainly include antistatic agents, smooth and {HotTag} anti-blocking agents, reinforcing agents, heat stabilizers, antioxidants and barrier agents.

Antistatic agent

Industrial antistatic agents are primarily a single compound or combination of nonionic and ionic surfactants. According to whether the hydrophilic group in the molecule can be ionized, it is divided into an ionic type and a non-ionic type, and the ionic type is further classified into a cationic type, an anionic type and an amphoteric type. The antistatic principle is to absorb the moisture in the air on the surface of the plastic by using its hydrophilic group, or to form a conductive layer on the surface to reduce the surface resistance.

Cationic antistatic agents have excellent antistatic properties, but generally have poor thermal stability and are easily decomposed and discolored under high temperature processing conditions, and are generally only used in PVC products. Anionic antistatic agents cannot be used for film products because they affect transparency.

In the packaging materials, the judgment of the performance of the antistatic agent should not only investigate its antistatic effect, but also its influence on the performance of the product. For this reason, the key to the development of antistatic agents is the investigation of the structural design and compatibility of various surfactants. Currently, the development of serialized, specialized products is an important development direction of antistatic agents.
