Ammonium sulfate prices were at a high level last month. Industry insiders pointed out that with the current production situation, the coking plant is still limiting production, and the favorable factors supporting the ammonium sulfate market will still exist in the short term.

Similarly, due to the impact of energy-saving and emission-reduction restrictions, the rate of start-up of the third-rising HFC-22 refrigerant manufacturer was very low, and the spot supply was very tight. Analysts said that it is expected that the tight supply situation this month will not be eased and the HFC-2 market will consolidate at a high level.

According to another source, there were 19 kinds of products that showed a downward trend in November, and the number increased by 16 kinds compared to October. The largest decrease was in bisphenol A (a decrease of 8.45%), and in addition, light soda ash (a decrease of 8.00%) was heavy. Soda ash (falls of 7.69%) and epichlorohydrin (drop of 7.50%) also fell significantly, with the remaining declines not exceeding 5%.

Due to the influence of **, plastic products containing bisphenol A, especially daily products, suffered from cold weather. According to industry sources, foreign plastics products, especially those producing baby bottles, have started to find suitable substitutes for BPA, and it is expected that the market will continue to decline.

According to statistics of Pan Xiaoli, an analyst at China Chemical Network, the current prices of light alkali and heavy alkali are at RMB 2,300/ton and RMB 2,400/ton, respectively, down 8% and 7.69% from RMB 2,500/ton and RMB 2,600/ton at the beginning of the month. The main reason is that the impact of power-saving and emission-reduction curtailment has been weakened, and the operating rate of enterprise equipment has increased, and the supply has increased.
