Common sense of safe use of infrared heater

Infrared heaters, also known as far-infrared electric heaters, are easy to use and hygienic. They are ideal radiant heaters in winter, but if used improperly, there are certain hidden safety risks.

1. The heater should choose a thicker power cord. Under normal circumstances, when the heater is working, the power cord should not feel hot when touched by hand.

2. Infrared rays can act on the inside of the human body, so do not irradiate for a long time, especially do not let infrared rays directly hit the eyes, so as not to cause damage to the eyes.

3. Do not put flammable objects such as towels and gloves on the heater for heating and drying. Do not expose the heater to flammable objects for a long time to prevent spontaneous combustion.

4. Avoid strong vibrations of the heater to prevent the infrared heating tube from rupturing; do not use it in wet places such as bathrooms, to prevent the quartz tube from bursting due to water droplets splashing, and be sure to power off when cleaning the reflector to prevent electric shock.
