Hunan Steel's 5m wide and thick plate roller quenching technology and equipment successfully completed commissioning

Hualing Xianggang 5m wide and thick plate heat treatment quenching and tempering line is a key construction project in Hunan Province in 2018. After many exchanges between Hualing Xianggang and Northeast University RAL National Key Laboratory, the two parties officially signed a heat treatment line quenching machine in February 2018. Project general contract, the project is officially implemented. In March 2018, the two parties completed a detailed design review. In August, the entire heat treatment line was successfully tested for a one-time thermal load. At present, the project has completed the commissioning work and is officially put into use.

Xianggang's 5m wide and thick plate roller quencher is currently the largest single equipment in the country, the largest steel plate thickness span and the largest width of the roller quenching equipment, which can achieve 5 ~ 200mm thick, the widest 4800mm, the longest 26m steel plate continuous quenching heat treatment production , With various functions such as normalizing, quenching, controlled cooling and so on. After technical breakthroughs, the two parties have broken through many technical problems such as ultra-wide steel plate high uniformity quenching, extra-thick steel plate high permeability quenching, ultra-thin steel plate high flatness quenching, steel plate temperature quenching, and double-row quenching. The thinnest 6mm, the thickest 200mm, and the widest 4800mm steel plate are produced continuously and stably. The advantages of equipment technology gradually emerge, which lays the foundation for the production and research and development of Xianggang's high-grade steel plate.
